These brushes, when interlocked within each other and placed in a settlement chamber, are used as a mechanical filtration media. Removing all types of partials from the water such as algae, leaves, etc.

Filter brushes are the most commonly used mechanical filtration media in the industry, this gives testament to their effectiveness in maintaining a high level of water clarity

Description
Brush Solutions filter brushes are made from high grade quality stainless steel wire. This not only increases the product life but prevents contamination caused by oxidation of mild steel and coated mild steel wire

Brush Solutions only use the highest quality polypropylene brush filaments which contain specialized UV stabilizers which reduce harmful bacteria and prolong the brush filaments effectiveness

A 30 mm Stainless steel loop on 1 end of the brush ensures easy, yet strong, installation with the use of metal or PVC tubing.

These filter brushes are high quality, high density brushes. Helping the filtration system achieve maximum efficiency with a minimum number of brushes. Therefore saving the fish keeper money and space

Cleaning
Simply remove the brushes from their chamber and hose down with either a hose pipe or high pressure washer. Then replace

NB Never use any cleaning products as this is harmful to your fish and affects the ponds natural good bacterial balance

What length do I need?
The brush length is determined by the depth of your chamber; remember to submerge the brush in the water with only 10 mm of filament above the water line.

How many do I need?
The brushes need to interlock with each other for effective use. The distance of interference (contact into each other) needs to be about 10% of the brushes diameter. This can vary slightly in accordance with your chamber size restrictions

Calculation
(Length of chamber in mm ÷ 180 for a 200 mm diameter brush) X (Width of chamber ÷ 180 for a 200 mm diameter brush)


NB: Always round off to the nearest whole number before multiplying
